Our friend Lainey gifted us a snowmobile trip last Christmas, something neither of us had ever experienced. But Jen hates cold weather, and after a snowmobiler died near Aspen, I chickened out too. So we swapped it for a glider ride over Boulder. It was a blast. If you go with someone else, make sure you know them well, because it’s a tight squeeze.
